MicroLED uses self-emissive LED modules — each pixel produces its own light with no backlight. That means true blacks, high calibrated brightness, wide viewing angles, and no burn-in risk like OLED. Unlike projection, there is no lamp to replace, no screen washout from ambient light, and no focal distance eating into your room. The result is a flat, seamless canvas that reads like a premium direct-view display, not a reflected image.
Lunar Phase is our pre-engineered platform — modular cabinet arrays in 16:9, Cinemascope, and Ultrawide 32:9, offered in Phase 3840 and Phase 7680 performance tiers with validated sizes and pixel pitches. Lunar Custom covers standard-ratio walls that don’t have a Phase SKU — 16:9, 2.40, 24:9, 32:9, or 48:9, sized to the room, with XYZ mounts and 8% spares. Odd layouts that break those ratios are engineered through Just Video Walls Pro.
Pixel pitch is the center-to-center distance between LED pixels, measured in millimeters. Lower pitch (e.g. 0.9 mm) means tighter pixel density and sharper detail at closer viewing distances — ideal for home theaters and conference rooms where viewers sit near the wall. Higher pitch (e.g. 1.5 mm or 1.8 mm) suits larger rooms and farther viewing distances where the eye cannot resolve individual pixels. Our configurator recommends options based on your selected size and use case.

Pre-engineered means the hard work — cabinet layout, processor selection, layer mapping, documentation, and quality control — is done before the wall arrives on site. Instead of a bespoke engineering cycle, you choose from validated sizes, pitches, and configurations that are ready to quote, ship, and install. Custom MicroLED still has its place; Lunar Walls exists to make the repeatable, high-performance install path faster and more predictable.
Lunar Phase 3840 is calibrated at 800 nits. Phase 7680 is calibrated at 1,000 nits. Both tiers include Dark Phosphor™. Those are calibrated wall values only — not uncalibrated marketing ratings. MicroLED’s self-emissive output holds up far better than projection in rooms with windows or ambient light, though dedicated theater spaces still deliver the most cinematic experience.
Why calibrated nits?
MicroLED modules are rated for up to 100,000 hours of use — far beyond traditional projection lamps or consumer TV lifecycles. Because there is no single backlight or color filter degrading over time, brightness and color stability remain consistent across the life of the wall, with modular serviceability if an individual cabinet ever needs attention.
